Community Based Behavior Therapist (CASAC required)

With the goals of increased access to substance use treatment and improved outcomes for children and families in the child welfare system, the Community Based Behavioral Therapist, will work collaboratively with referred families and the Department of Social Services to establish plans of safe care and support the behavioral health needs of children and their caregivers who have been affected by substance use. Essential Job Functions: -Provide clinical assessments and screenings -Accompany caseworkers in the field on visits with families needing assessments and possible referrals for substance treatment -Assist in the development, implementation, and/or monitoring of a plan of safe care for infants and families affected by substance use -Case documentation to include written assessments, safety planning, service notes and monthly summaries -Identify needs and gaps in supports, working with community partners to address these areas -Opportunities to assist with developing and providing trainings internally as well as within the community

Community Based Therapist

With the goals of increased mental health access and improved outcomes for children and families in the child welfare system, the Community Based Therapist, will work collaboratively with referred families and youth along with identified partners to establish and support treatment plan goals that strengthen and support families within their own environment/community. Essential Job Functions: -Provide weekly home and community based treatment sessions -Offer individual, family, and group service modalities -Case documentation to include written summaries, assessments, treatment and safety planning -Identify needs and gaps in supports, working with community partners to address these areas -Opportunities to assist with developing and providing trainings internally as well as within the community
